Possible processes for creatives….

step 1 total procrastination
step 2 total denial
step 3 total addiction (this is where excessive food, alcohol or drugs easily enter the picture)
step 4 total hopelessness
step 5 feeling stagnant and like a total failure
step 6 feeling all this discomfort and going forward anyway
step 7 working for 15 minutes only
step 8 something like a catalyst enters the picture and leaves you no choice but to either move forward or fall into the dismal well of repetition (steps 1-5)
step 9 the whole process starts again until that crucial step 8. The good news is, it always works out. It either takes forever, or it doesn’t . This is the cycle of…(whatever you were doing in the meantime, possibly still productive but maybe unfulfilling?) It really does go away and you reach step 10
step 10 total follow through on your creative projects, promises you made to yourself days, weeks, months or years ago…

Be gentle with yourself through steps 1-9
